Bathinda administration intensifies efforts for combating liquor supply | Chandigarh News – Times of India

BATHINDA: The Bathinda civil and police administration has intensified its efforts to curb the influx of illicit liquor from neighboring states and alcohol-related industries, including ethanol units within the district.
Deputy Commissioner Jaspreet Singh accompanied by SSP Deepak Pareek, conducted a visit to BCL Industries at village Sangat Kalan while scrutinizing the ethanol unit, bottling plant, warehouse, CCTV surveillance, raw material units, and industry holograms.
DC Bathinda also held meeting with DC Sirsa and sought report on number of liquor shops aross interstate border and to keep strict vigil on movement of liquor on inter state routes. Till now, 2136 litres of illicit liquor has been seized in the district.
