Global star Ram charan turns 39 today and wishes have been pouring in from fans, friends, colleagues and family. The Pan India actor and producer was born in Chennai to Telugu superstar Chiranjeevi. He is one of the highest-paid performers in India. Ram Charan made his feature debut in 2007 with the film Chirutha. He gained fame with SS Rajamouli’s fantasy action film Magadheera in 2009, which became the highest-grossing Telugu film then.
Cousin Allu Arjun took to Instagram to share a montage of clips from their cousins, actors Varun Tej and Lavanya Tripathi’s wedding festivities in Italy. In the clip, Allu Arjun can be seen dancing with Ram Charan, possibly on Naatu Naatu. In another shot, they can be seen doing the iconic Pushpa pose. While Ram Charan can be seen in a crisp, white shirt, Allu Arjun looks sharp in black shirt and matching trousers. “Happy Birthday to my most Spl Cousin . Love you always ,” he wrote in the caption.
For the unversed, Ram Charan and Allu Arjun are first cousins. Allu Arjun’s father, veteran producer Allu Aravind is the sibling of Surekha Konidela, Ram Charan’s mother. Surekha is married to megastar Chiranjeevi.
The cousins always have each other’s backs. Last year, when Allu Arjun won the Best Actor award at the 69th National Film Awards for his performance in the 2021 film Pushpa: The Rise, he made cinematic history by becoming the first Telugu actor to be given this prestigious honour. As the industry celebrated this achievement, Ram Charan and Upasana Konidela congratulated him by sending him flowers and a special gift accompanied by a note.
Ram Charan will be next seen in action-packed political thriller film, Game Changer. Meanwhile, Allu Arjun is currently shooting for Pushpa 2 with Rashmika Mandanna.
