Adani Group Chairman Gautam Adani has again become the second richest person in Asia. He left behind China’s billionaire Zhong Shanshan. In the list of world’s richest people, his name has come in the top 20 at number 18, while Shanshan has reached number 19. At the same time, Mukesh Ambani, chairman of Reliance Group, remains the richest person in Asia with $ 85.2 billion (Rs 7.02 lakh crore).

Delhi Education Minister Atishi gets Centre’s nod to travel to UK

Atishi, the Education Minister in the AAP government, has been given the necessary approval by the central government to go to the United Kingdom (UK) for an official visit next week. The Central Government gave this information on Wednesday in the Delhi High Court during the hearing on Atishi’s petition.

The Center told a bench of Justice Chandradhari Singh that political clearance has been granted to Atishi for her official visit to the UK. Now the proposal has been sent to the Department of Economic Affairs for further approval which will be processed and Atishi can apply for visa permit.

6 laborers killed after being hit by a train in Odisha

Six laborers were killed and two others were injured when a goods train hit them at Jajpur Road railway station in Odisha on Wednesday. To avoid the heavy rain, these laborers had sat under the goods train, when the goods train started moving and they did not even get a chance to get out. CM Naveen Patnaik has announced a compensation of Rs 5 lakh each for the next of kin of the deceased.
