Earthquake jolts Meghalaya’s West Khasi Hills, magnitude 4.2

An earthquake hit the West Khasi Hills of Meghalaya on Sunday. The National Center for Seismology (NCS) reported that the earthquake occurred at 7:53 pm. The intensity of the earthquake was measured at 4.2 on the Richter scale. The epicenter of the earthquake was at a depth of 10 km in the Khasi Hills. There is no report of any casualty so far.
