Amidst the ongoing border dispute between Maharashtra and Karnataka, an important meeting took place in Delhi’s Parliament House on Wednesday. It was attended by Union Home Minister Amit Shah and Karnataka Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai, Maharashtra Chief Minister Eknath Shinde and Deputy CM Devendra Fadnavis.

After the meeting was over, the Home Minister told that I had a meeting with the Chief Ministers of both the states regarding the border dispute. The meeting went well. Both the Chief Ministers agreed to resolve the dispute in a constitutional manner. It was decided that till the decision of the Supreme Court, both the states would not lay claim on the disputed areas.
