Noted athlete and Rajya Sabha nominated MP PT Usha has been made the President of the Indian Olympic Association. The deadline for filing nominations for its election was November 27, which has expired. Only PT Usha had filed nomination for this post, in which case he was elected unopposed.

3 children hit by passenger train in Rupnagar, Punjab, all three died

Three children were killed after being run over by a passenger train near Shri Kiratpur Sahib in Punjab’s Rupnagar on Sunday. These children were going to eat berries. They were trying to cross the track when the train came. Due to this the children got hit by the train. The age of the children who died is said to be between 7 and 11 years. Read the full news here…
