Bhumi Pednekar has very successfully created a niche for herself in Bollywood with her choices of films and performances. The actress earlier worked as an assistant to casting director Shanoo Sharma for YRF.
She recently revealed that her first paycheck from Yash Raj Films was for Rs 7,000, and she was very excited. The actress added that she gave it to her mom.The actress also went on to add that she had taken a loan as a film student and most of whatever she used to earn would go towards the repayment of her loan.

Talking about working as a casting director for six years, Bhumi shared that she was a very good casting director actually, and in those six years, she has done many different jobs with YRF. She even recalled auditioning Pankaj Tripathi for ‘Powder’.
Elaborating further, Bhumi added that she even participated in Ranveer Singh’s audition process, and said that he had his signature star aura even back then. The actor said that they were auditioning actors for Band Baaja Baaraat, and added, he was very driven to give his best. And she actually did the lines with him. According to him, it was just fantastic.
Meanwhile, on the work front, Bhumi was last seen in ‘Afwah’ and ‘Bheed’.
