A cat has also died in the gas leak. The bodies of the deceased have been taken to Ludhiana Civil Hospital. The health of MLA Rajinderpal Kaur Chhina, who stood on the spot since morning, has also deteriorated. He has also been sent to the hospital.

To prevent further damage due to gas leak, the police have evacuated the surrounding 300 meters area. Along with this, efforts are being made to stop the gas leak. According to the police officers and fire brigade who reached the spot, how did the gas leak from a grocery shop. Which was the gas, it will be known only after investigation. However, it is suspected that ammonia gas has leaked.

The operator of the shop from where the gas leaked is unconscious. On the information of the incident, MLA of the area Rajinder Kaur Chhina also reached the spot and said that the matter will be investigated in the gas leak episode.
