caste based census in bihar: Caste-based census will begin in the state of Bihar from Saturday (January 7). Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar said on Friday (January 6) that the government is fully prepared to conduct caste-based census in the state.

The government is fully ready to conduct the census:

Kumar, who is on Samadhan Yatra, said the government has trained officials to conduct caste-based census keeping in view the sub-castes and financial status of citizens in the state. He also said that the census would be beneficial for the development of the state and the country.

“We have trained our officials to conduct a detailed caste census. This will benefit the development of the state and the country,” Kumar told the media.

Tejashwi Yadav on caste based census:

The Bihar Deputy CM said, “Caste-based survey in Bihar will start from today. It will give us scientific data so that budget and social welfare schemes can be made accordingly. BJP is anti-poor. They don’t want this to happen.” Tejashwi Yadav.

Meanwhile, Nitish Kumar on Thursday (January 5) launched Samadhan Yatra to review the implementation of government schemes and hold meetings with officials. Kumar started the yatra from Bettiah in West Champaran.
