A Bihar government official died tragically while tracking in Rohru, Himachal Pradesh. Jitendra Kumar Sah, of the rank of Joint Secretary in Bihar, had set out on trekking from Jiskoon in Rohru sub-division to Jakha on Sunday.

When he sat down to rest on the way before reaching Jakha, he lost his balance and fell down from the deck. Due to this he died on the spot. This incident took place around 11 am on Sunday. By late Sunday evening, NDRF personnel took his body to Chirgaon Hospital, where doctors declared him brought dead.

After falling from the hill, he suffered a deep injury on his head, due to which he died on the spot.

Dead body sent to Chandigarh – SDM

SDM Rohru Sunny Sharma told that the post mortem of the dead body was done before 9 am today. After this, the body of the deceased was sent by car to Chandigarh. Jitendra Kumar’s dead body has been airlifted from Chandigarh and sent to Patna. Along with Jitendra Kumar, many officials of Bihar government had come to visit.

Shah was an officer of Bihar Administrative Service

Jitendra Kumar Sah was an officer of the Bihar Administrative Service. He was working on the post of Joint Secretary in the Sugarcane Development Department of Bihar. Tracking with Jitendra Sah, Principal Secretary of Sugarcane Development Department Narmadeshwar Lal, District Informatics Officer Ram Bhagwan, Dr. Ramesh of Animal Husbandry Department were accompanied by five officials.
