Union Home Minister Amit Shah said on Saturday that reservation for the Muslim community is against the Constitution. Amit Shah said that the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) believes that reservation for Muslims “should not happen” and added that there should be no religion-based reservation in the country. Amit Shah was speaking at a public meeting in Nanded, Maharashtra.
He said, ‘BJP believes that there should be no Muslim reservation as it is against the Constitution. There should be no religion based reservation.
