VARANASI: Prior to the official launch of the Lok Sabha election campaign by the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) in Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s parliamentary constituency, the party’s national general secretary, Sunil Bansal, assigned party members the task of connecting each of the five lakh voters between the ages of 18 and 30 with PM Modi.
Bansal conducted a direct interaction with 50 youth ‘vistarak’ (mobilisers) from each of the five assembly constituencies within the Varanasi Lok Sabha seat.”Dedicate half a day to party activities for the next 50 days to ensure that every voter between 18 and 30 years old is reached,” Bansal instructed them, highlighting the importance of focusing on first-time voters.
To achieve PM Modi’s target of forming an NDA government with over 400 seats, the entire party is working diligently, he said.
