Bjp To Take Up Booth Strengthening Campaign | – Times of India

Prayagraj: With an eye on the 2024 parliamentary polls, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leadership has geared up to take up booth strengthening programme across the state from September 26 to October 2. Under the programme, party workers would be taking up verification, deletion and regulation of mandal\shakti kendra and booths at all 1918 mandals across the state.
Leaders said this would be third phase of booth strengthening campaign and would be helping in mapping of parliamentary constituencies. The first phase of booth strengthening campaign was conducted in July 2022 when party had focused to work on 22,000 poor booths across the state. Under second phase, party had constituted booth committees and also created whatsapp group between March 15 to April 10 this year.
Party spokesman Rajesh Kesarwani told TOI, “Leaders and workers have been assigned six different task at mandals during the booth strengthening campaign. At least 25 senior workers from each district would be selected and sent to other districts to review booth strengthening exercise. Each worker would be assigned to cover at least two mandals.”
Party is currently taking up Ayushman Bhav campaign and organising voluntary blood donation camps. Party aims to collect around 10,000 unit bloods across the state under the Ayushman Bhav campaign.
Ahead of 2024 parliamentary polls, party leadership will make attempt to conduct booth mapping of all 80 parliamentary constituencies in an attempt to connect with the all eligible voters. Party leaders have also discussed plans to connect with voters in both online and offline mode. A senior party leader said “Booth mapping is an important exercise to connect all eligible voters ahead of forthcoming parliamentary polls”.

The campaign also aims to provide universal access to Ayushman Bharat health insurance.
Ayushman Bhav to cover all villages
The UP government has launched the Ayushman Bhav campaign to ensure that health schemes benefit all in villages and wards. Gram panchayats and urban wards that achieve health-related goals will be designated as ‘healthy’. The campaign will focus on distributing Ayushman cards to the poor and making them available at the village and ward level. The Chief Minister has issued guidelines to complete the necessary indicators to make every gram panchayat and ward an ‘Ayushman Gram Panchayat’ or ‘Ayushman Urban Ward’. The campaign aims to provide access to quality healthcare and universal health insurance.
