Bluru: Five people from Bengaluru injured in E-way crash | Mysore News – Times of India

Mandya: Five people from Bangalore were injured. Accident on the Bengaluru-Mysore Expressway on Monday.
The front tire of the SUV they were traveling in burst, following which the vehicle crashed into a highway fence before rolling over three times. The injured are Srikanth, 36, Krishna, 60, and Murthy, 45, all residents of Basavanagudi. manjunath G Adiga, 25, of Indiranagar and C Arjun, 25, of Rachehalli, Nagawara. Three of them have received serious injuries.
All five were given emergency treatment at Sanjo Hospital before being shifted to Rajarajeshwari Medical College and Hospital in Bengaluru for further treatment, police said.
The incident took place around 5.15 pm. On receiving the information, an ambulance belonging to NHAI was sent to the spot and the injured were sent to the hospital. The crashed SUV was shifted to the roadside with the help of local residents to make way for vehicular movement.
Mandya Central Police has registered a case.
