There’s no denying that the Deol family has had an incredible year with Sunny Deol making his stunning comeback with Gadar 2, Dharmendra becoming talk of the town for his performance in Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani and now Bobby Deol making waves with his stellar performance in the Sandeep Reddy Vanga directorial Animal.
While it is indeed overwhelming for Bobbyto receive such kind of response from the audience, the actor recently opened up about his career graph along with his brother Sunny Deol.He didn’t shy away from accepting that their journeys have been full of ups and downs.
Talking about whether his struggle has been similar to Sunny, Bobby told Bollywood Hungama that his brother was a bigger star than him and he lost his stardom. He was also a star but before he could get any bigger, his career went downhill.
Bobby said that it was very difficult for Sunny to see his downfall but he never lost the self-belief. “He is a very strong man. He has always believed that people have to just believe in him and when those kind of subjects comes his way… and he proved it… making a sequel of a film which is 22 years old and to break records. My brother is the best,” he added.

He further said that the whole family derives strength from one another and how his father and veteran actor Dharmendra has been a great support to him over the years. “He has seen my struggles. He knows me inside out and he knows what I am capable of. He has always been honest with me. I have been in the industry for 28 years, and now he tells me, ‘Kuch bhi kar sakta (You can do whatever you want.)’ I mean it is a proud moment for any father to see his children’s struggle (pay off),” Bobby said.

The Animal actor also revealed that he wasn’t able to tell anything to his father what he was going through in life and it would upset him. “Maybe, he wanted to shake me up and tell me, ‘Where is your self-belief gone?’ But it is not easy. A person has to understand it himself,” he said.
Meanwhile, Bobby’s entry song in Animal has gone viral. His character Abrar enters dancing to a traditional Iranian song ‘Jamal Kudu’. The peppy track is half a century old and finds its roots from an Iranian poet named Bijan Samandar.
