Vidyut Jammwal starrer Khuda Hafiz 2: Agni Pariksha saw a sluggish start at the box office. Directed by Farooq Kabir, it is the sequel to the much-acclaimed action-thriller Khuda Hafiz. While the first part had a digital release, the second part went down a theatrical route. Reportedly, Khuda Hafiz 2 has earned around Rs. Net of 1.50-1.60 crores on the first day. Jugjug Jio, on the other hand, is enjoying business at the ticket window. Both the films are facing tough competition from the recently released ‘Thor-Love and Thunder’.

The Varun Dhawan and Kiara Advani-starrer crossed the Rs 50 crore mark in its first week itself. On 7 July, it faced stiff competition from Thor, after which it suffered a heavy downpour. According to Box Office India, “Jugjug Jio did well in its second week as it collected around 19 crore nett to net its business 69.25 crores in two weeks. The fall in the second week is 62% which is a good The trend is. The film became a hit on Thursday as Thor – Love and Thunder released and the film lost the screen which was always going to happen.”
“The lifetime of the film will be scheduled till the third Friday and since there is a fall on Thursday, it may not drop on Friday, which will surely keep it for a net finish of 80 crores. Vidyut Jammwal’s film has a low opening at the box office. Reportedly, Khuda Hafiz 2 has earned around Rs. Net of 1.50-1.60 crores on the first day. The number can be compared to Aditya Roy Kapur’s action film, Rashtra Kavach Om, which made its first day of release.

Directed by Raj Mehta and directed by Dharma Productions, the family entertainer hits the theaters on June 24.
