Police said a boy along with his girlfriend reached a forest in Jamui on Saturday and were walking comfortably in the calm environment when some youths chased them.
Seeing the youths chasing them, they started running but the youths caught them.
He asked the reason for roaming alone in the forest before attacking both of them.

Jamui SDPO Rakesh Kumar told TOI, “We have started an investigation into the matter. Legal action will be taken against those who misbehaved with the boy and the girl.”
No formal complaint has been registered so far but the police have taken suo motu cognizance of the matter, he said.
“We are trying to identify the accused persons along with the spot of incident,” the SDPO said.
