Bhiwandi: A 12-year-old boy who was playing hide and seek with his friends had a lucky escape after he slipped from the sixth floor of a building. Bhiwandi on Thursday evening.

The boy, Irshad Ahmed, fell on an autorickshaw parked in the premises and sustained minor injuries. The upper part of the rickshaw has been crushed and damaged. The boy, who lives in Bhiwandi and studies in Class 6, was hiding near the balcony area of ​​an under-construction flat in the newly constructed Jilani Complex in Gulzar Nagar area.
Ankush Bangar, senior inspector of Bhiwandi’s Bhoiwada police station, said flats up to the fourth floor are occupied, while the fifth and sixth floors are not ready and are vacant.

Police quoted the child as saying that he had lost his balance. The exact sequence of events and the scenario on the sixth floor was not immediately known as police are yet to visit the spot. As soon as he got off the rickshaw, some people passing by after offering namaz at a local mosque were teary-eyed as they took some time to understand what had happened.
Bhiwandi: They immediately picked up the boy and the locals accompanying them took the boy to the nearby Al Razi Hospital, where an MRI and CT scan was done and doctors concluded that the child had “minor injuries”. Siraj, the boy’s father, said, “It is the blessing of Allah that my son survived.”
