Bride’s father killed by lover in Kerala: Arrived with friends a day before marriage, hit on head with shovel after argument

Before the marriage of a daughter in Kallambalam, Kerala, her father’s bier got up. The incident took place in Vadasserikonam. Where a person named Raju was killed by the accused living in his neighborhood by slitting his throat with a digging tool.

The accused and the daughter of the deceased already knew each other. He argued with Raju because of his daughter’s marriage. His brother and friends also supported him in this. Raju’s daughter was about to get married in Sivagiri, Varkala.

Jishnu had reached with brother and friends
According to the police, Jishnu was accompanied by his brother Jijin and his two friends Shyam and Manu at the time of the incident. The victim was hit on the head with a shovel. Doctors declared him brought dead on being taken to the hospital. The exact reason for the brawl is yet to be ascertained and investigation is on, he said.

All the four attackers have been taken into custody. Police said that more information would be available after interrogation.

First she was to be married to Jishnu
Jishnu was earlier friends with Raju’s daughter. They were thinking of marrying both of them, but it was canceled due to Jishnu’s evil nature. Later the daughter’s marriage was fixed elsewhere. Angered by this, Jishnu and his friends came to the house and created a ruckus. Apart from Rajan, some other relatives were also injured in the violence.
