BTS members J-Hope and Jimin come forward to help children in earthquake-hit Turkey and Syria. People around the world have joined efforts to raise funds for the survivors of the quake-hit countries that killed thousands of people in both countries. The five back-to-back earthquakes and aftershocks have forced victims to take shelter in relief camps and rely on funds and aid from non-profit organisations. While the government and several international organizations are working round the clock, celebrities across the world including actors and singers have also extended support with donations.

BTS members Jimin and J-Hope are joining forces to help earthquake victims. BTS member Jimin has reportedly donated a huge amount. According to UNICEF Korea, Jimin donated $78,000 (roughly Rs. 64,52,850) to help with relief activities for children in Turkey and Syria. Apart from Jimin, J-Hope of BTS has also donated the same amount to the victims. His total contribution is Rs 1.29 crore. UNICEF Korea’s tweet said, “BTS J-Hope donated 100 million KRW for emergency relief to Turkey and Syria for earthquake-affected children and became a member of the UNICEF Honors Club.”

The ARMY can’t stop appreciating the contribution of the BTS members. One fan wrote, “Sweet Jimin you are an inspiration to all of us.” Another added, “Thank you so much Jimin! You are a beautiful and great person. We love you.”

Following in the footsteps of his ideals, many BTS fans have also joined him in the donation relay. Earlier, South Korean celebrities including Jung Sung Kyu, Yang Dong Geun and Kim Jin Woo also made donations to help the victims.
