IIn crunch-time, the twin poles of the Congress in Karnataka, Siddaramaiah and DK Shivakumar (DKS) buried the hat-trick and kept their eyes firmly fixed on the mutual goal – winning the state for the party. Three days before Karnataka goes to the polls on May 10, Congress election managers also pulled off an imaginative coup in optics. He released a video of the two veterans engaged in a relaxed, free-spirited conversation in the manner of old compatriots, exchanging notes and firming up plans for the future. But the rivalry between mass leader Siddaramaiah and Karnataka Pradesh Congress Committee President DKS in the victory was clear to all.
