While returning from Rajasthan to Delhi, the bus of Himachal Congress workers met with an accident on the Manoharpur-Kothun highway on Friday evening. 2 people riding the pickup have died in the accident. At the same time, about 6 leaders of Himachal have suffered injuries. The injured are undergoing treatment at Jaipur hospital.

According to the information received, a delegation of 28 workers of Congress MLA from Lahaul Spiti Ravi Thakur had gone to Rajasthan in Bharat Jodo Yatra. Was on the way back. A bus and a pickup collided head-on near Malgwas village on the Manoharpur-Kothun National Highway.

The accident took place in Dausa under Senthal police station. Due to the high speed of both the vehicles, there was a huge explosion after the collision. Hearing the sound, a crowd of people gathered on the spot. As soon as the information about the accident was received, police station Kotwali, Sadar and Santhal reached the spot and took care of the injured.

The impact of the collision was so strong that the front part of the bus and the pickup got completely damaged. The front portions of both the vehicles got badly entangled with each other. The bodies of the people sitting in the pickup got trapped inside.

Police separated both the vehicles by calling a crane on the spot and took out the trapped bodies. After the accident, the Congress workers took out their belongings from the bus and kept it on the roadside and later left in another vehicle.
