According to him, Dinesh had met Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal regarding the excise policy. ED had said in its charge sheet filed in the past that Dinesh was working closely with AAP leader Vijay Nair.

Although Vijay Nair has already been arrested by ED, he is currently in judicial custody. According to media reports, on November 16 last year, the CBI appealed to a Delhi court and made Dinesh its witness in the same case, saving him from arrest.
