Bvm Inks Mou With Russian University | – Times of India

Vadodara/Anand: Vallabh Vidyanagar-based Birla Vishvakarma Mahavidyalaya (BVM), has inked an MoU with Russia’s Ural Federal University (UrFU), JCB Limited and Unique Forgings (India) Pvt Limited. The MoU will enable dual-degree programmes without any financial obligation on either of the institutes.
“The agreement will also facilitate conferences, symposiums, workshops and summer internship for students at both the BVM as well as UrFU campuses,” said professor Indrajit Patel, principal of BVM engineering college and dean of international collaboration.
Patel said the agreements are aimed at producing globally employable innovative engineers with core values.

State govt signs MoU with IOC for solar plant
The state department of new and renewable energy in Goa has signed an MoU with the Indian Oil Corporation to establish an 800MW solar plant and around 40 electric vehicle charging stations. The agreement also includes a commitment to plastic recycling and tree planting to reduce carbon emissions. The Chief Minister of Goa aims to make the state carbon emission zero by 2040 and to transform Panaji into a solar city by 2024.
