Mahila Samman Mahapanchayat has been called in front of the new Parliament House in Delhi on behalf of the wrestlers who are protesting at Jantar Mantar in Delhi demanding the arrest of MP Brij Bhushan Sharan Singh. Many social and political organizations and Khap members are being prevented from going in this, along with farmers’ organizations and groups of Haryana and Punjab.

Delhi Police has sealed the Singhu border by putting barricade on it. Commandos have been deployed along with the police. Every vehicle is being given entry into Delhi only after checking. At the same time, in the Sonipat border, the police have started investigation by putting barricades. A heavy police force is also deployed at Sonipat railway station. Heavy police force is deployed at Rohad toll plaza in Bahadurgarh to prevent farmers from going to Delhi. Many local Khap representatives have been detained or placed under house arrest.

Delhi Police sealed the borders

Wrestler Olympians Bajrang Punia, Sakshi Malik and Vinesh Phogat are continuously protesting at Delhi’s Jantar Mantar. Wrestlers have called Mahila Samman Mahapanchayat in front of the new Parliament House on Sunday. Due to which Delhi Police is on alert. Along with sealing the border, the Delhi Police has asked neighboring states to stop vehicles before entering Delhi. Due to which Sonipat police has also increased vigilance.

Four companies of police are deployed in Sonipat border. A water cannon has been installed along with the Vraj vehicle. Police officers are constantly monitoring. DCP and ACP level officers are present at the border. At the same time, the Delhi Police has put a blockade in its area. The duty of commandos has been imposed along with the police. Water canons, sand-filled dumpers and cranes have also been erected on the border. On the other hand, security has been tightened at the Ferozepur-Auchandi border in Kharkhoda. All the vehicles are being sent to Delhi only after checking.
