A speeding car hit a man riding a scooty in Hyderabad, the capital of Telangana. The car was being driven by a woman who was intoxicated. After the accident, she ran away from the spot with the car. The person riding the scooty was seriously injured in the accident.
Police said that the accident happened in Banjara Hills area. The injured have been admitted to GHMC hospital. He has been identified as a civic body employee from Hyderabad. The accused woman is being searched.

After the accident, the woman’s car stops on the spot for some time. Meanwhile, hearing the noise, people living around the road start peeping from the balcony of their houses.
