Rajkot: Two laborers were killed and six others injured when a cargo lift inside a cold storage facility collapsed at Chitra GIDC in Bhavnagar on Friday. The police have registered an offense of accidental death and started investigation.

Speaking to TOI, Bhavnagar Superintendent of Police Ravindra Patel said, “Two laborers took a cargo lift to transport goods. It suddenly collapsed killing the workers, injuring six others working at the ground level. He has been admitted to Sir T Hospital and his condition is stable.
“We have registered a case of accidental death and started investigation,” Patel said.
According to the police, the deceased have been identified as Dharishi Visnagar (23) and Jagdeep Sharma (27). Police said that the deceased and the injured are residents of Jammu and Kashmir. Cold storage facility stores many items. news network
