Pune: The wakad Police registered a case against a pharmacist on Saturday Bhumkar Chowk To sell counterfeit medicine used as an immunity supplement.

State FDA Joint Commissioner Vikas Patil has filed a complaint Pimpri Chinchwad Police,
Investigation revealed that the Pune-based trader had purchased the medicines from another Gujarat-based trader, who in turn had bought it from a Rajasthan-based pharmacist.

The pharmacist in Rajasthan procured it from another pharmacist in Bihar, who procured it from an agency in Kamothe, near Panvel in Raigad district. It was later learned that there was no such agency in Kamothe. “We have not made any arrest in the case so far,” the officer said.
