CBI has falsely implicated me in YS Viveka murder case: Andhra Pradesh MP | Amaravati News – Times of India

Tirupati: When MP YS Avinash Reddy Claimed that he was innocent and had been falsely implicated by the CBI in the YS Vivekananda Reddy murder case.
The Kadapa MP met his followers and party workers at Pulivendula in YSR district on Tuesday evening, later interacting candidly with reporters.
“I am innocent and have not committed any crime. I am being falsely implicated by the CBI in this case. It seems that instead of completing the investigation in a fair manner, the CBI is bent on implicating me as an accused in the case ” manner,” lamented the Cuddapah MP.
YS Avinash Reddy also raised doubts over the confessional statement of Viveka’s daughter Nareddy Sunitha Reddy recorded by the CBI. “When his first and second statements are compared there are too many contrasting points”.
Responding to CBI inquiries about his whereabouts on the day Viveka was killed, Avinash Reddy told reporters that he was going to Jammalamadugu and when he reached Pulivendula Ring Road and came to Viveka’s house, he found Shivaprakash Reddy’s house. The phone rang.
“But the CBI is trying to establish that I was already present at Viveka’s residence to frame me. The CBI can interrogate all those people who were present with me that day and were accompanying me to Jammalamadugu Avinash Reddy said.
The Kadapa MP raised doubts on some important aspects in the case.
“Sheikh Dastagiri, who became a witness in the case, told the CBI that valuable documents were stolen after Viveka’s murder. But the CBI never probed those details. On the other hand, the alleged suicide note and mobile phone recovered from Viveka’s residence were not handed over to the investigating agencies till morning and evening. This is another important aspect which has not been looked into by the CBI”, alleged the Cuddapah MP.
