CBSE Results Declared: 94.4% Class X, 89.7% Class XII Pass in State | Ranchi News – Times of India

Ranchi: Overall 89.7% Student Passed the Class XII board examination of the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), the results of which were declared on Friday. Girls outperformed boys with a pass percentage of 92.94%, while 87.45% of boys passed the Class XII exam. A total of 36746 students from Jharkhand including 21023 boys and 15723 girls passed the exam out of 40956 students of the state who appeared for the exam.
94.4% students passed the exam in class X board exam. Girls outperformed boys with 95.3%, while 93.9% of boys passed. This year, a total of 66761 students appeared in the 10th class board exam, in which the number of girls was 26678 and the number of boys was 40083.
Pawani Kumar of Delhi Public School, Ranchi became the state topper in Class X board exams with 99.4%, followed by second rank. Harshit Aggarwal from Gumla with 99.2%. While Abhinav Chandrayan and Prasun Pravar of Ranchi secured the third position at the state level with 99 percent marks.
In the finals of class XII, Alex Singh In science stream, Adarsh ​​Kumar Singh of DPS Dhanbad, Delhi Public School, Ranchi has topped the state by securing 98.4 per cent marks. While Archie Maharia of Dhanbad and Ritvika Khaitan Sarla Birla School Ranchi has topped the commerce stream with 98.6%. Jas Simran Kaur In Arts, Shyamali of Jawahar Vidya Mandir secured the first position by securing 97.8 per cent marks.
State topper Pavani Kumar never took coaching for preparation. She said, “There is no need to depend on any coaching center to get better results. By maintaining a consistent number of study hours and focusing on our syllabus, we can reach our goal. In the final phase of preparation Board Exams, we should concentrate on completing many exam sample questions and study with the help of NCERT Textbooks to score high marks.Preparation requires consistency, and regular study to achieve success in the exam essential. Plus, it boosts confidence.”
CBSE Class X exams were conducted from February 15 and continued till March 21 while Class XII exams were conducted from February 15 to April 5. The evaluation process started a week after the commencement of the examination and went on till April. This year, the board has revised its methodology to ensure error free evaluation of papers.
