As per a recent update on the same, Shraddha KapoorBeing considered for the lead female role in a sports drama. A report in Bollywood Hungama states that Sajid Nadiadwala and Kabir Khan are on the lookout for a leading lady and they are keen on getting Shraddha to play the part. The actress is also excited about the project. It has been said in the report that at present he is leading the race. As of now, Sajid and Shraddha are in talks and working out the modalities.
This will be the first time that Kartik and Shraddha will be seen sharing screen space in a film. However, Karthik was seen doing a cameo Luv Ranjan‘s ‘Tu Jhoothi Main Makkar’.
‘Chandu Champion’ is reportedly a sports drama. However, there are several elements in the film which reportedly require VFX and hence the director will keep enough time for post-production. Both Kabir and Sajid are confident that this will be a landmark film in their career. It will be released in theaters on 14 June 2024.
Apart from this, Karthik has Anurag Basu’s ‘Aashiqui 3, This will be her first project with the filmmaker. The makers are yet to lock Karthik’s heroine in the film.
On the other hand, Shraddha is currently prepping for ‘.Street # 2‘ with Rajkummar Rao, Aparshakti Khurrana, Pankaj Tripathi, Abhishek Banerjee and others.
