Child run over by ACP’s car in Ludhiana: Death

A child playing in the street was run over by the driver of an ACP (Assistant Commissioner of Police) in District Ludhiana, Punjab. Due to which he died. This incident is of street number 3 of Vikas Nagar.

The child’s uncle Dharmesh told that a senior police officer lives in his area. On Saturday, his driver opened the gate of his Kothi and took out the Fortuner vehicle.

He himself was taken to the hospital in the trunk.
Without looking around, the driver crushed one and a half year old innocent Anuraj under the front tire of the car. Anuraj was playing in the street. The uncle told that the driver was so cunning that he put the child in the trunk of the car and himself took him to the hospital.

On the other hand, when people saw blood splattered at the place of incident and asked the driver, he said that the cat is dead. Dharmesh told that he got a call from the hospital that his child had died. The family is in bad condition by crying. Dharmesh told that when he reached the hospital, the whole matter became clear to him. Police has also reached the spot.

The officer didn’t even express condolences
Uncle Dharmesh said that when he asked about the accused driver in the hospital, he was told that he was present in the police station. He said that the officer whose driver he is, did not even express condolences to the family even once. The vehicle was Fortuner at the time of the incident, but now the police is showing some other vehicle in the police station. The body of the child has been kept for postmortem.

According to the sources, the police is pressurizing the child’s family to resign etc. Section 174 is being imposed. Some people present on the spot also said that if SIT etc. is made to investigate this matter, then the matter can be cleared.
