Varun Dhawan and Samantha Prabhu get a glimpse of Citadel
Varun Dhawan and Samantha Ruth Prabhu will soon be seen sharing the screen space together in Citadel.
Samantha Ruth Prabhu and Varun Dhawan will be soon sharing screen space in a web series Citadel. Fans are excited to see them together. Although they have been diligently shooting for the project, the duo is yet to unveil key assets of the show. Despite this, it appears that the stars recently had the opportunity to catch a glimpse of their work, and they are thoroughly thrilled about it.
Samantha and Varun took to their Instagram handles to share photos of themselves watching the show with makers Raj and Dk. They even added a little note that read, “Finally, we got to watch something…And we are like .”
Directed by Raj and DK, Citadel is the Indian adaptation of the International series of the same name which was created by the director duo, the Russo Brothers. According to strong reports, the actress is performing high-octane action sequences in the film along with Varun Dhawan.
While the team is staying tight-lipped about Citadel India, Priyanka Chopra recently opened up about the same and revealed that the storylines are connected to each other. PeeCee headlined the American version of the show. She mentioned that she cannot wait to see Raj and DK’s work and appreciated the filmmakers saying, “Raj and DK are so amazing, so talented and they’ll bring their own spin to the Indian installment. So, I’m very excited.”
Apart from Citadel, Varun Dhawan is currently busy with Atlee for his next. This is the first time Atlee and Varun Dhawan are working together. It is going to be Atlee’s second Hindi film after Shah Rukh Khan’s blockbuster, Jawan. Varun was most recently seen opposite Janhvi Kapoor in Nitesh Tiwari’s love drama Bawaal, which is streaming on Prime Video. According to reports, Varun Dhawan is also working on the remake of the South Indian film Theri, which stars Wamiqa Gabbi, Sanya Malhotra, Rajpal Yadav, Jackie Shroff, and Sheeba Chaddha.
On the other hand, Samantha Ruth Prabhu is on a break and is focusing on her health. The actress, who was also diagnosed with the autoimmune condition myositis last year had shocked fans after she officially announced that she is taking a sabbatical to look after herself. She will reportedly make a comeback with Citadel.
