Hubballi: To protest against the Union government’s anti-labour and farmer policies, Centre of Indian Trade Unions (CITU) will start a signature campaign from January 12 and they will also stage protests in front of all MP offices in all 31 districts of the state from January 23 to 25, said CITU State president S Varalakshmi.
Speaking to reporters here on Thursday, she said that the Union government has been following policies helping capitalists in the country, which are affecting the economy in a negative way.She added that labour unions will stage a protest in front of MPs’ offices on January 23. Factory labourers, gram panchayat workers, corporation workers, insurance agents and others will stage protests on January 24. Unorganised sector workers, including construction, auto drivers will stage a protest in front of MPs’ offices on January 25. TNN
