Jamshedpur: Chief minister Champai Soren laid the foundation stone for two degree colleges in Chakulia and Potka at two different events on Friday.
The proposed colleges under Kolhan University, Chaibasa will make higher education reach the remotest areas of the East Singhbhum district. The aim of the proposed colleges is to make education available to the tribals, farmers, labourers, backward castes and minorities along with others who do not have access to good colleges in their vicinity.
