Coimbatore: The ninth edition of Coimbatore Shopping Festival will be held at the Codissia trade fair complex here from December 24 to January 1, 2024.
The shopping extravaganza is expected to draw at least one lakh visitors from neighbouring districts and clock a business upwards of ₹50 crore.
Organized by CODISSIA Intec Technology Centre, the shopping mela would have white goods, furniture, textiles and fashion accessories, to name a few, under one roof.
One of the highlights of the event would be 50 stalls representing the khadi and village industries.
V Thirugnanam, president, Coddissia, said, “Every edition of the shopping festival has been witnessing a growth. In 2022, about 80,000 people visited the festival. This year, we are expecting one lakh visitors.”
The 10-day event would also feature entertainment programmes like games, live orchestra, live concert, stand up comedies, live band performances, dance and much more.
