A big meeting of the Congress party is going to be held next week. It is being speculated that in this coming meeting, the party will prepare a complete plan for some major reshuffle and implement it. Apart from this, the leaders have been asked to come up with preparations to focus on assembly elections instead of Lok Sabha elections. According to experts, in the meeting, further strategy has to be chalked out keeping in front those five issues of Karnataka’s election manifesto. So that results can be obtained as soon as in the assembly elections.
Sources associated with the party have given responsibilities to different leaders to make new schemes on a large scale in the party before the elections to the next assembly. Senior leaders of the party who hold one such responsibility say that the biggest issue in this meeting to be held soon is the implementation of the election manifesto in Karnataka in all the upcoming assembly elections. He says that Himachal Pradesh not only came to power on the issue of old pension restoration, but also returned to power in Karnataka elections. Senior leaders associated with the Congress party say that the party will now contest the upcoming assembly elections in four states with those five announcements. This includes free electricity, monthly assistance to the female head of the family, free ration, free travel for women in buses and the issue of unemployed.

In this meeting, it was decided that along with the election issues of the Karnataka Legislative Assembly, the upcoming elections would be fought on a political basis. Congress Party’s National Treasurer and former Railway Minister Pawan Bansal says that his party has always entered the political arena by taking public issues forward. He says that the victory of the party in the Himachal and Karnataka elections has definitely strengthened the preparations to enter the political arena with many new issues. Pawan Bansal says that in the Congress session held in Raipur, similar issues were also advocated for contesting elections by taking them among the public. On the basis of issues of public interest, our party will be in the midst of the public in the upcoming assembly elections and in the Lok Sabha elections.
Political analyst RP Singh says that the manner in which the Congress has started preparing its election manifesto in the last few elections is similar to the issues of the Aam Aadmi Party which is expanding itself in the country. He says that the Congress party has realized that through the restoration of old pension, it can directly reach crores of employees of the country. Singh says that the benefit of free bus ride to women in big states definitely translates into a large vote bank. This is the reason why the announcement of free bus travel for women in Karnataka is being seen as a booster for the Congress party. He says that in other states too, this method of planning is similar to turning into a big vote bank for women. Because the area of most of the states is very large and the benefit of free bus for women is definitely decided to be given to political parties politically. Similarly, the honorarium given to the female head of the household and allowance to the unemployed become big issues politically.

Sources associated with the party say that in the meeting to be held this week, the political ground for the elections in Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh and Telangana will also be prepared on these issues. Before that major reshuffle can also be done in some states. The national president of the party has held talks with prominent leaders regarding this. It is being speculated that soon changes will be seen at the organizational level within the Congress party.
