Congress National President Mallikarjun Kharge will release the party’s manifesto for the upcoming Lok Sabha Elections 2024 on Friday. The top brass of the Congress party, including Sonia Gandhi and Rahul Gandhi will be present at the ceremony.

“The Congress party shall be unveiling its Manifesto today. Our 5 NYAY — 25 GUARANTEE agenda represents our non-negotiable commitment to the welfare of the Nation. Since 1926 till date, the Congress Manifesto is a solemn document of the inseparable trust between us and the People of India,” Mallikarjun Kharge wrote on X (formally Twitter).

Reportedly, the Congress manifesto was drawn along the lines of its focus on ‘Panch Nyay, the five ‘pillars of justice’. It will also emphasise ‘Yuva Nyay’, ‘Naari Nyay’, ‘Kisaan Nyay’, ‘Shramik Nyay’ and ‘Hissedari Nyay’ as well as the guarantees made by it to the people as part of its poll promises for the general elections.

Given the several recruitment scams, the congress in its manifesto is also expected to propose a stringent law and punishment against those responsible for paper leaks in the country and will suggest measures to bring transparency in government recruitment, sources said.
