Vadodara: The murder of a twenty-year-old man near Dashrath village on Sunday morning is a crime perpetrated by two men, one of whom had to repay a huge debt on the same day.
The body found near Dasaratha village on the outskirts of the city has been identified as that of Keyur. Joshi Who lived in Dasaratha village. Sachin Thakkar and Shubham Kadam, both residents of Virod village, looted their valuables and killed them with the intention of selling them.

Joshi got engaged a few months ago to a girl living in Ahmedabad. On Sunday, he had left for Ahmedabad to meet his fiancee. His younger brother dropped him off near Dumad Square, where private cars often took passengers to Ahmedabad.
Joshi boarded the car but did not reach Ahmedabad. When his relatives did not listen to him, they approached the police. Started investigation from Dumad Crossing and tracked the car drivers carrying passengers on the route. This took him to Thakkar and Kadam in Virod.
When police teams from Manjusar police station and the local crime branch raided their homes, they found blood-stained clothes of both of them. “Kadam told us that he was in debt and Sunday was the last day to repay the money. So, he and Thakkar hatch a plan to rob some passengers. He offered Joshi a car ride to Ahmedabad and when the car was on the highway, Kadam, who was sitting on the back seat, strangled Joshi with a belt.
The two then picked up a stone from the road and hit the deceased on the head before disposing the body near Dashrath village. The police have recovered a silver chain, a watch and some cash belonging to Joshi from the house of the accused.
