Crackk box office collection day 2: Vidyut Jammwal starrer crashes; collects only Rs 2.75 crore | – Times of India

Actor Vidyut Jammwal debuted as a producer with IB 71 last year, which found moderate success at the box office. For his second production venture, he scaled his vision and put together Crackk: Jeetegaa Toh Jiyegaa with Arjun Rampal, Amy Jackson and Nora Fatehi leading the cast with him. The film garnered a lot of attention for its songs and Vidyut’s action which led to the film having a respectable opening of Rs 4.25 crore.

But it seems like the film has failed to connect with the masses.The film saw a nearly 35 percent drop on its second day and collected just Rs 2.75 crore as per industry tracker Sacnilk, thus taking the total collection of the film to Rs 7 crore.
Amongst the new releases Crackk is facing competition from Aditya Dhar and Yami Gautam’s Article 370 which is gaining a lot of attention. Even on day 1, it opened bigger than Crackk. Article 370 scored Rs 5.90 crore on Friday and Rs 7.90 crore on Saturday, taking its two days total to Rs 13.30 crore. Previous week’s release, Shahid Kapoor and Kriti Sanon’s Teri Baaton Mein Aisa Uljha Jiya continues to attract audiences as it earned more than Rs 4 crore.
