Cu Shah Medical College and Hospital: Doctor attacked by four in government hospital. Rajkot News – Times of India

Rajkot: A doctor working in the Emergency Medicine Department of Government Surendranagar CU Shah Medical College & Hospital Four people including a history sheeter attacked on Thursday night.
Dr Shivraj Singh Zala33 have nominated and filed a complaint Keval RabariA history sheeter and his three unknown accomplices.
He told the police that on Thursday night around 2.30 am, the four came to his chamber and Rabari asked him to get his friend treated. When Dr. Zala asked about the illness, Rabari and others became enraged and started abusing him.
Dr Zala called the security guards but the accused threw a wooden block and a chair at the doctor. The BP machine in his hand was also thrown away.
Following the incident, the hospital authorities held an emergency meeting while the doctors threatened to go on strike if the four were not arrested within 24 hours.
The accused were booked under sections of the Gujarat Medicare Service Persons and Medicare Service Institutions (Prevention of Violence and Damage or Loss of Property) Act, besides relevant sections of the IPC.
