Nagpur: Two conmen named Mukesh Piplia and Arshad Pathan have been arrested by the Cyber ​​Police from Gujarat for duping a person named Durgeshwar Giripunje of ₹6 lakh in a task cheating case.
Giripunje was first added to a WhatsApp group and later to a Telegram before luring some early returns. Later they were made to invest in various schemes by promising higher returns but no amount was returned.
In another case the tricksters cheated Hitendra Dhodke duped him of Rs 28 lakh by implicating him in a work fraud scheme.

The four goons were identified as Raju Parachake alias Bhikku. Sunil Pahune, Nilesh Meshram and Ashish YadavA case of extortion has been registered against him following a complaint by Sunny Rahulkar, a grocery trader from Rambagh.
A case was registered at the Imambara police station on Tuesday.
It is learned that Bhikku and his gang were demanding ₹2,000 per day from Rahulkar. Bhikku also extorted Rs 6,000 from Rahulkar, threatening him of dire consequences.
It is learned that Bhikku had threatened Rahulkar to either deposit the amount or else he would suffer. The Imambara police have registered an offense against Bhikku and his gang.
Police said that Bhikkhu has also been arrested.
