D-Mart’s Damani buys 1.4% in VST – Times of India

MUMBAI: Radhakishan Damani, the main promoter of homegrown retailing major D-Mart, has bought a 1.44% stake in cigarettes & tobacco products company VST Industries for nearly Rs 76 crore. The stake, translating to a little over 2.2 lakh shares of the Hyderabad-based company, was bought through BSE’s block deal segment on Tuesday, exchange data showed.
The day’s block deal data showed that SBI MF had also bought nearly an equal number of VST Inds shares through the block deal segment.At the same time, DSP MF had bought 2.5 lakh shares while HDFC MF had sold 2 lakh shares.
