Darsheel Safary is still remembered as the Taare Zameen Par’s Ishaan. The film released in 2007 also starred Aamir Khan and was loved by fans. Well, today the actor dropped a photo on his social handle and also gave a major hint about a new project with Aamir Khan. They will be reuniting after 16 years and fans just can’t keep calm.

Taking to his Instagram handle, Darsheel Safary shared a collage and wrote, “BOOOMMMMM! 16 years later, and we’re together again Emotional? Yeah, a little. Charged? ABSOLUTELY. All the love to my favorite mentor for the experience. Watch this space for the Big reveal. 4 Days to go!!!”. In the photo, we can see a scene from the film Taare Zameen Par featuring Aamir Khan and a small Darsheel. In the next photo, Aamir is seen as an old man and Darsheel as a young man. Well, in no time the photo went viral.

Well, there are reports that he is reuniting with Aamir in the latter’s upcoming movie Sitaare Zameen Par. Speaking with TV9 during their conclave, Aamir confirmed that Sitaare Zameen Par will be a Christmas release. “My next film as a lead actor, which has just begun filming, is Sitaare Zameen Par. We are trying to release it by the end of this year, on the occasion of Christmas. It is an entertaining film, I like the story. The shooting of the film has begun,” he said.

Aamir’s confirmation about Sitaare Zameen Par’s filming comes a few weeks after Pinkvilla reported that Aamir has back-to-back shoot schedule starting this February. Sitaare Zameen Par also stars Genelia Deshmukh in the lead. This marks Genelia and Aamir’s first film together.
