DC meets City Inc: Ludhiana Deputy Commissioner assures speedy resolution of industrialists’ issues | Ludhiana News – Times of India

Ludhiana: Ludhiana deputy commissioner (DC) Sakshi Sawhney on Wednesday held a meeting with members of various industrialists associations in Bachat Bhawan and assured speedy redressal of their issues. SSP Khanna Amneet Kondal, SSP Ludhiana (rural) Navneet Singh Bains, MC commissioner Sandeep Rishi, ADC Ojasvi Alankar and other heads of various departments were also present in the meeting.
During the meeting, the industrialists from various parts of the district raised their issues. The DC addressed each concern individually and assured the industrialists of a speedy resolution. She promised to address issues such as road infrastructure, street lights, traffic congestion, pollution, law and order, smooth power supply, OTS scheme, and bogus billing.
She assured the industrialists that the state govt was dedicated to removing all bottlenecks to facilitate and ensure ease of doing business. Furthermore, she stated that a dedicated team at district level would be appointed to solve the issues by appointing nodal officers.
Reviews devp projects
The DC on Wednesday reviewed the progress of various development projects undertaken by the public works department (PWD). She took comprehensive stock of physical and financial status of the projects by the PWD in various parts of the district.
Inspection of govt office
Deputy commissioner Sakshi Sawhney on Wednesday inspected various offices and branches in the district administrative complex (DAC) and directed the officials and employees to ensure timely delivery of services to the people visiting their offices. The offices that were checked include the SDM office, a section of the transport department, and the record room.Sawhney directed all employees to remain present in their offices during working hours so that people did not suffer. She said people should not face any inconvenience when approaching their offices.
