In reply, the Punjab batsmen could not chase down the massive total and were restricted to a score of 198/8. Wickets kept falling but, Liam Livingstone steadied the innings with a 48-ball 94. However, the PBKS batsmen fell short by 15 runs. Anrich Nortje ended his spell with 2/36 for DC.
DC now have 10 points from 13 matches, while Punjab Kings have 12 points from 13 matches and can reach 14 points.
