Deadly attack on supporter of Nupur Sharma…: Home Minister Narottam said in Bhopal – NSA will take action against 13 attackers of Bajrang Dal leader

26-year-old Ayush was fatally attacked for supporting Nupur Sharma in Agar Malwa, Madhya Pradesh. On Wednesday, 13 accused surrounded him and tried to kill him. Home Minister Narottam Mishra has said to impose NSA (National Security Act) on all the accused. He said that 8 accused have been arrested.

Madhya Pradesh is an island of peace. We will not allow anyone to disturb the peace. Considering a serious offence, action has been taken against all under section 307 (attempt to murder). Strictest action will be taken. Encroachment drive will also be started from today.

The incident took place near Royal Dhaba on Ujjain Road at 12 noon on Wednesday. Ayush, a resident of Phalmalipura (Agar), was going on a bike when the accused Amal, Arbaaz, Asif, Sarfaraz, Chiki, Ammu Mewati, Aman, Sohail, Munna Mewati, Salman, Firdous, Sameer and Sajid blocked his way. He committed a deadly attack with a tire opening tool and a knife.

Ayush was taken to the district hospital Agar in an injured condition. From there he was referred to Ujjain. He told in the hospital – I was going by bike. 12-13 The boys stopped me by showing my hand, then asked me about my name and being the convener of Bajrang Dal. When I told him yes, he asked did you give a bite about Nupur Sharma? As soon as I said yes, they attacked me. He was saying that cut his throat. Kill it… He had a sword in his hand, a sharp weapon, a tangi (small ax), he even hit me with a stone.

Ayush going by bike was attacked by 12-13 youths together.

Hindutva organizations created a ruckus
After the incident, the SP office and then the police station were gheraoed by Hinduist organizations. They were demanding their early arrest by registering a case against the accused. After this long uproar, the police swung into action. On the complaint of Ashutosh Soni (resident Pal Road, Agar), the police have registered a case against the accused under other sections of assault including attempt to murder, rioting.

Memorandum was given on the threats being given to Nupur
Ayush is the Block Convener of Bajrang Dal. He had given a memorandum on June 16 against the threats being given to Nupur Sharma and the attacks on people for supporting her. The attackers were angry with this and attacked Ayush.

Controversy happened in Sehore too
Rohit Salvi of Sehore had put a post on social media on June 11 supporting Nupur Sharma. Some people had even reached his house near Ganesh temple to beat him up. Mistaking the neighbor as Rohit, these people fled after threatening to kill him. When Rohit came home, his neighbor told that some people had come to kill him, after which once again the same people started threatening Rohit. Rohit had complained about this in the police station Kotwali. Police identified the accused and registered a case against Sahil, a resident of the town, and four others.
