Situation like the third wave of corona infection has happened in Haryana. Due to infection, a case of death due to corona has been reported in the state for the third day as well. Infection has been confirmed in 318 people in 24 hours. The number of active cases is also increasing continuously. Their number has been recorded as 1109 in the state. There has also been a record increase in the positivity rate. It has increased from 5.77% to 7.39%.
Infection spread in 14 districts
Out of 22 districts of Haryana, the infection has now spread in 14 districts. After Gurugram, Faridabad, Panchkula, now Rohtak has become a hotspot in terms of infection. A record 179 patients have been found in Gurugram during 24 hours. On the second number, 39 new patients have been found in Panchkula and 20 in Faridabad. Corona infection has been confirmed in 20 people in Rohtak, 13 in Karnal.
10717 deaths so far
After one death due to corona infection in Gurugram, now the figure of 10717 deaths has reached in the state. Earlier cases of death due to infection have come to light in Yamunanagar and Panchkula, however the health department has not yet updated those deaths in its records. This is the first death in Gurugram which has been officially shown by the health department.
strictness may increase
The Haryana government is preparing to increase strictness regarding Corona. Haryana’s Home and Health Minister Anil Vij has given such indications. He says that the government still has other options to stop the infection. In Haryana, it has been made mandatory to wear masks when there is a crowd of more than 100 people. Along with this, masks have been made mandatory for all health workers while on duty.
