Bollywood actress Deepika Padukone has some solid marriage advice for the current generation of couples. Deepika, who is married to Ranveer Singh since 2018, appeared on the cover of Time magazine. As part of the cover interview, Deepika opened up about marriage and shared her observation that there is a ‘lack of patience’ among married couples nowadays. He said that couples can take some life lessons from the older generation.
“I think we all grow up influenced by movies, or we grow influenced by the relationships and marriages around us. But I think, the sooner you accept that the journey or two that we’re on If what people are on is going to be very different from someone else’s journey, the better.”
“Having said that, I think not just my parents but the whole generation, I think patience is probably one of the main things that I feel like in couples today – I would love to be a love guru (smiles) ) – but I think it lacks patience and I think that is something we all can learn from, not only Ranveer and I from our parents but I think more like us Couples can learn from the generation before us. Speaking about Ranveer, Deepika revealed that the couple recently took a trip to Bhutan together and spent their days enjoying walks, sightseeing and food. Opening up about her relationship with him, Deepika said that she felt her “most vulnerable self” with him.
