Manali: A Delhi man allegedly shot his wife and her male friend at a hotel near Manali on Friday morning. In the attack, the woman narrowly escaped while her friend died on the spot. Later the attacker committed suicide.
Hearing the sound of gunshots, the hotel staff ran away and found two bodies lying on the floor. After that he informed the police. A team of Manali Police reached the spot.
According to sources, the accused and the victim are residents of Delhi. The accused had come to party in Manali. He was not living with his wife for some time and then met her in Manali. When he reached his hotel room on Friday morning, he found his wife with his friend. Enraged, he shot both of them.
The police is probing the case from all angles including the love triangle.
Manali DSP Hem Raj Verma said, “Treatment is being provided to the injured and evidence is being collected. The investigation is on the right track.”
